Every year, Corsica attracts almost half a million cruise passengers to one of the 6 ports managed by the Corsican Chamber of Commerce and Industry: Ajaccio, Bastia<\/a>, Bonifacio<\/a>, L'Ile-Rousse<\/a>, Porto-Vecchio<\/a> and Propriano<\/a>.<\/p>

Ajaccio Commercial Port<\/strong>, the island's leading port with more than 460,000 passengers a year, is a very active port and a well-known cruise port of call. France's second-largest cruise port, with 205 calls in 2023, it has a major international appeal, enabling it to spread its economic influence throughout the city and micro-region. . <\/p>

The port offers a high level of comfort and safety that is much appreciated by companies and their passengers: quality infrastructures, in particular a dedicated quay inaugurated in 2008, capable of accommodating 340m long ships, passenger terminals, security screening areas and excursion departure areas that will be completely redeveloped in 2020...<\/p>

Between 450 and 500 calls each year, more than 30 international companies operating over seasons lasting up to 8 months with more than 50 different ships, including new ships each year making their maiden calls, flagships of the industry benefiting from all the latest technologies (scrubbers, clean fuels, waste and sewage recycling stations, etc.)!<\/p>

The clientele we welcome on board these ships is international, essentially European, with Germany in the lead and the UK accounting for 2\/3 of passengers, among whom there are also Italians and Spaniards.
